Important Notice for August 30th:

Service Downtimes During Software Upgrades

Zing Credit Union will perform a large-scale software upgrade beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 30th to enhance the core processing system we have been operating on since 2014. We are excited about the new software’s benefits for you, our member, including the ability to develop and offer more products and services.

During this large-scale software upgrade, our staff will diligently work behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition. However, because of the scale of this upgrade, there will be instances when we will be closed or certain services will be temporarily unavailable. Please plan ahead to ensure you are minimally impacted by the following closures and service downtimes.

Tap on the tabs below to stay updated on any changes that might affect your account.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Zing Credit Union at 303-573-1170.

  • Our contact center, branches, and drive-thru locations will be closed on Saturday, August 31st. We will reopen the afternoon of Tuesday, September 3rd. Please check our website, myzing.com, for updates. Our contact forms will be available for use at myzing.com/contact.

  • CO-OP Shared Branch access, online and mobile banking, and voice banking will be unavailable from 5:00 pm on Friday, August 30th to noon on Tuesday, September 3rd.

ATM access will still be available, and your debit and credit cards will work as normal.

    Card Controls

If you utilize card controls to turn your cards on and off, please ensure they are set to be on if you plan to use them during our upgrade weekend. Because online and mobile banking will be unavailable, you cannot edit your card access.

Our online payment portal will be unavailable starting at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 30th, and available again on Tuesday, September 3rd.

    SWBC Payment Portal

If you make loan payments with a debit card or bank account using our SWBC payment portal, please note that this service will be unavailable from 4:00 pm on Friday, August 30th through Tuesday, September 3rd. Please plan your loan payments accordingly.

  • As a result of this upgrade, you will be able to view your entire banking relationship under one online and mobile banking username and password. Do not share logins. This is in line with our online and mobile banking agreement and disclosure. Separate logins for any joint owners will ensure appropriate access is available to those on your account. If you are currently sharing a login with another person, please change your password prior to September 3rd, and have your joint or associated person enroll at: myzing.com/OLBEnroll.

You will have access to one year’s worth of banking history after this upgrade. If you need access to history prior to August 2023, please download what you need or reference past statements. To download transactions in online banking, click the account you wish to see transactions for, and click the “Export” button in the upper right-hand corner.

  • If you are a user of our voice banking service, you will need to re-enroll when our service is live on September 3rd. To re-enroll, you will need to visit any branch location or call us at 303-573-1170.

  • Zing’s Privilege Pay program will be renamed “Courtesy Pay” during the upgrade. This is to reduce confusion and better align with industry norms. Nothing else regarding our program is changing.

  • Upon completing this important upgrade, the requirements to receive the benefit of 5 Buck Club will be updated. Starting on September 1, 2024, to qualify for 5 Buck Club (if you are enrolled in it) you will need to complete 30 debit card transactions in the qualification period, instead of 15 debit card transactions.

Updated 5 Buck Club Disclosure Effective 9/1/2024:

reversal of Out-of-Network ATM fees, and reversal of excessive PIN transaction fees). Qualifying transactions and direct deposits must post and settle to the account during the month’s qualification cycle. The “Qualification Cycle” is the period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. Must have online or mobile banking to enroll in e-Statements. Must be a member in good standing with no bankruptcies or charge-offs. $5 reward will be deposited to the member’s checking account on the last day of the month. Out-of-Network ATM fees only apply to ATM transactions made from the checking account. Up to $24 in excessive PIN fees will be refunded per year. Must meet all 5 Buck Club requirements for the month to qualify for Out-of-Network ATM fee refunds and for Excessive PIN Transaction fee refunds for fees incurred during qualification cycle.

  • Change in Term:

MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENTS (PAYMENT SCHEDULE). Though You need only pay the Minimum Monthly Payments, You understand that You have the right to repay at any time without penalty. You also understand that You will only be charged periodic Finance Charges to the date You repay Your entire balance. You may make larger payments without penalty. Any unpaid portion of the Finance Charge will be paid by subsequent payments and will not be added to Your principal balance. Any partial payment or prepayment will not delay Your next scheduled payment. You understand that any delay in the repayment of Your unpaid balance will increase Your periodic Finance Charges and any acceleration in the repayment of Your unpaid balance will decrease Your periodic Finance Charges. Except for VISA, payments will be applied first to any Late Charges owing, then to the Finance Charge due, then to the outstanding principal balance. As permitted by law, We may apply VISA payments at Our discretion. All payments to Us must be in lawful money of the United States.

For Overdraft Line of Credit, Minimum Monthly Payments will be established at the close of each billing cycle in an amount equal to 5.00% of the Unpaid Principal Balance of Your Account, subject to the lesser of $50.00 or Your balance, plus any portion of the Minimum Payments shown on prior statement(s) which remains unpaid, plus any amount that exceeds Your approved Credit Limit.

For VISA Feature Categories, Minimum Monthly Payments will be established at the close of each billing cycle at an amount equal to 2.00% of Your then outstanding balance, subject to the lesser of $25.00 or Your balance, plus any portion of the Minimum Payments shown on prior statement(s) which remains unpaid, plus any amount that exceeds Your approved Credit Limit.

You may, by separate agreement, authorize Us to charge Your payment directly to Your share or share draft account.

Sincerely, Zing Credit Union
