How do I set up an external transfer?

Setting up an external transfer account is a great way to make payments from another financial institution or manage cash flow between two accounts.  To set up an external transfer, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Log into your digital banking account.
  2. Click Move Money.
  3. Click Add External Account.
  4. Add the Account Number, Account Type and Routing Number of the account you would like to link from another institution.
  5. Click Continue – Micro deposit (a few cents) will be made to your external account to ensure the account is linked correctly.  These micro deposits may take a couple of days to appear in your external account.  Once the micro deposits are made, you will need to verify the deposits.

To verify the micro deposits:

  1. Log into your digital banking account.
  2. Click Move Money.
  3. Click Verify External Account.
  4. Enter the amounts of the micro deposits.
  5. Click Verify.

Your external account has now been setup.  You may use your external account to transfer funds to and from Zing Credit Union.
